Jason Osbourn

Jason was an attorney with Newburg Law focusing his professional career on representing criminal defendants. Jason has been working in the criminal justice field since 2006. He was initially a corrections officer and supervisor in the Marquette County Jail until he decided to return to school to seek his law degree. At the Michigan State University College of Law, Jason pursued a specialty in criminal law through several elective classes as well as internships with the Eaton County Prosecutor’s Office and the Washtenaw Public Defender’s Office. While working at the Eaton County Prosecutor’s Office, Jason was able to gain valuable courtroom experience by conducting misdemeanor trials and work on felony cases in a court setting. Working both sides of the courtroom and closely observing courtroom procedure for the last 9 years has given Jason a unique and valuable insight into trial practice in a criminal law setting.

Jason is a veteran Soldier and Marine, avid runner, amateur woodworker, and beekeeper.
